élan and I are honored to be partnering once again with Frank, Pacific Regional Manager for Armed Forces Entertainment (AFE) for the 2nd Annual Heat Wave Summer Tour Series. Heat Wave is the largest tour of the year with an impressive line-up of talent across musical genres including Rock, Country, Pop, Hip-Hop, Dance, RnB and Reggae. The tour is from June 27 through July 12. Thirteen different acts will be performing at military bases throughout the Pacific, Europe, Mediterranean, Southwest Asia and the Western Hemisphere. You can find all the details on this and other upcoming tours at Armed Forces Entertainment’s website. As always, the shows presented by AFE are 100% free for the military and their families. And the Heat Wave Summer Tour Series is no exception.
Last year we sent 90s RnB band, Soultry City to Diego Garcia. This year we are proud to be sending élan’s new reggae band, The Majority, to Guam, Okinawa and Japan for a five-show tour. They recently released their debut album “Love &” this past March and this will be The Majority’s first overseas military tour. In fact it and this will be their first tour EVER. What an amazing opportunity for them to celebrate with the troops who can’t be home during the Independence Day holiday and share their original music.
